Cedar Springs Bed & Breakfast
A 5-bedroom country home on 100 treed acres with a fantastic view, you are still within 20 minutes of Coeur d'Alene and Spokane Valley.
The master bedroom has a king-size bed, its own private Jacuzzi, and a private deck. Ideal for a private massage!
The rooms with queen-size beds have access to a large deck. All beds and beddings are new and wonderfully comfortable.
Relax in the outdoor hot tub or sit on the deck, and enjoy the coolness of the surrounding cedar forest as you look out at the prairie and distant mountains. The site affords opportunities to watch birds and other wildlife (deer, mouse, lynx, wild turkeys, etc).
Help yourself from the pesticide-free garden which has an abundance of fruits and vegetables. The hostess makes fruit wine, dried fruit and roll-ups, and teas because she can't stand to waste good food. She also makes bread and fantastic whole grain waffles with grains just ground.
Enjoy the trails through the forest and around the creek. The more adventurous can continue on into the mountains (on foot or snowshoes) and neighboring lakes.
Just a Note: The hostess speaks many languages and enjoys people from different backgrounds. She is familiar with the history of the area and flora and fauna.
Breakfast (your choice) and wine or tea in the evening.
Hiking, snowshoeing, garden browsing, kayaking and canoeing on nearby lakes, golfing at nearby (1 mile) Twin Lakes Village, and exchanging stories with the hostess are a few of the activities available.
Off highway 41, 10 miles from I-90. Take exit 7 (between Coeur d'Alene and Post Falls), follow signs keeping on highway 41 to Sturgeon Road. Take a left on Sturgeon up a steep hill. Our sign over the driveway is .7 mile from the highway.
