The St. Joe Riverfront Bed & Breakfast

At the southern end of Lake Coeur d'Alene, flows the St. Joe River. Just two miles west of St. Maries, Idaho is the St. Joe Riverfront Bed and Breakfast. The beautiful new home (3700 square feet) was built to take advantage of the magnificent views of the mountains to the south, west, and east with the serene Shadowy St. Joe (135 feet of river frontage) as your front yard.
St. Joe B & B has 4 guest rooms, each with individual decor and personality. The owners Cary and Val Day have taken pride in building and decorating their home with a European feel on the inside along with many varieties of wood accent and sunroom facing the river. On the outside, water surrounds three sides of their "A" frame home with the river and two unique fountains, along with a large deck for sunning or enjoying the view of the surrounding mountains. The ideal retreat for those who wish to experience the peacefulness and beauty of North Idaho's great outdoors.

Guest may want to take a refreshing swim, float on a tube, or sunbathe along the bank. Some may want to take the scenic drive about 1 hour to upper "Joe" above or below Avery where the best fly-fishing is found. Other beautiful and scenic drives include the White Pine Drive to Potlatch, or a drive around the east end of Coeur d'Alene Lake via Harrison to Coeur d'Alene. The Coeur d'Alene Indian Casino near Worley is 30 minutes away. Huckleberry picking, river rafting, hiking, biking (the Hiawatha Trail and Taft Tunnels), hunting, snowmobile trails, and much more are just minutes away. Spend part of your day in the friendly logging town of St. maries, exploring its history, visiting one of its antique shops, local art gallery, or other stores located downtown with plenty of parking.
